Abstract

Abstract. Effectiveness of  anti  hypoxic drugs (riboxin  and  hypoxen) in preoperational patients for optimization of recovery processes after major cavitary surgeries is presented. In a randomized controlled study, there were 36 patients (27 males and 9 females) aged 26–70 years monitored at  the  emergency and intensive care department. In addition to a standard preoperational regimen for  3 days, they  received: Group 1 (n = 12) riboxin 200 mg (KhFC Akrikhin public corporation, Staraya Kupavna, Moscow region); Group 2 (n = 12) hypoxen 140 mg (Closed Oliphen corporation, Moscow) once per  day  as i/v drop infusion. The third (control) group (n = 12) included patients who received standard preoperational regimen. It was  established that  the  study drugs contributed to the  stabilization of heart rate and systolic output in the early postoperative period, reduced the  severity of metabolic changes  in the body due to the development of hypoxia, improved the  condition of patients and  reduced time  in the intensive care unit. Riboxin was shown to be  the  most effective during the first days (hours) after surgery, and effects of hypoxen are  more durable (up to 5 days).
